Wet and Wild

One of my favorite radio interviews was last night's hourlong chat with Jim Bohannon, who's been holding down Larry King's old late-night radio spot for more than two decades. Unfortunately, getting there was another story. There was a driving rainstorm that, by the time I parked a few blocks away in downtown D.C., had become a monsoon. As the minutes ticked away, I had no choice but to make a break for it, armed only with a flimsy umbrella. I was utterly drenched -- my jeans were soaked through -- when I stumbled into the CBS bureau. Fortunately it was radio, so nobody noticed.

Something similar happened to me on my way to class last week.

But for some reason, I didn't think it was worth recounting to my students.

Wow, could you be less insightful? I can't imagine anyone reading this blog would ever, ever, ever want to read your book.

Please lighten up on poor Howie. You people are bullies. It's not fair to attack him when he doesn't really have the wherewithal to defend himself.
And just look at the poor fellow! You know he spent his entire childhood getting bitch slapped and having his lunch money stolen.
Hell, I bet it still happens to him.
So take it easy on little Howie, all you bullies!

You remain all wet.

Such are the burdens of fame, Howie. I bet Matt Drudge has a personal umbrella valet though.

One of my errands was last week's hourlong trip to my son's kindergarten class to help make scarecrows. Unfortunately, getting there was another story. There was a driving rainstorm that, by the time I parked, had become a monsoon. As the minutes ticked away, I had no choice but to make a break for it, without an umbrella. I was utterly drenched -- my jeans were soaked through -- when I walked into the classroom. Fortunately people get wet in the rain so NOBODY CARED.

This is a parody blog, right? I mean, no bona fide paid writer in the MSM could publish something this vapid, could they?

Howard Kurtz:

Can you please ask Bob Woodward what year he met Al Haig?

This article:

is telling me you helped him lie about it. Can you ask Bob Woodward why he's been lying for many years about his ties to Al Haig?

Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this site. It's simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it's difficult to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say that you've done a very good job with this.
Also, the blog loads extremely fast for me
on Chrome. Superb Blog!
