KurtzTV on Wednesday

For those who want to follow the grand tour, I'll be on ABC's Good Morning America at 8:30. Doing CNN's Situation Room sometime between 4 and 6, and then the O'Reilly Factor in the 8 p.m. hour.

Stephen Colbert danced on GMA this morning. What are you going to do?

When are you gonna talk about the uber creepy right wing attack on Graeme Frost, Howie?

Anonymous said...

When are you going to denounce that traveling, fascist freak-show known as Michelle Malkin, Howie?

Anyone want to start a pool on long it takes for Howie do disable comments? I'm guessing less than two weeks.

I don't know anon, without the comments this site wouldn't have any personality at all. There has to be SOME reason to come here...

I came to see if Putz had disabled comments yet. Or if he's covering for Malkin.

I certainly did not expect Howie to write any quality postings. And sure enough, I find "...bo-ring"
Real-ly?
He needs an editor and a writer.

Mr. Kurtz,
You really need to do a little work on this blog. You aren't even posting pics? Are you doing some sort of minimalist approach?

These "Howard" posts read like they were written by a PR flack. Hmm...

I don't care what these other people say, I love your blog!

I'll hazard a guess that IF Howard deems the jihad against the Frosts as worthy of his time (remember, he's got a completely irrelevant book to flack), he will start off by saying that attacking the children goes too far. BUT THEN go on to declare that Malkin, that "charming and pugnacious" citizen journalist, is asking perfectly legitimate questions. And besides, it's all the Democrats fault for making the Frosts public figures in the first place.

In other words, he will miss the real issue(s) completely. Ezra's post, on the other hand, is right on the money.

Howard's catchphrase should be "the dumbing down of media criticism just got dumber".

Wow.

First Chris Matthews puts out a must-read book, and now Howard Kurtz! Man, the life-lessons are crashing ashore like waves on the beach.

Can Bill Hemmer be far behind?

Did Bill O'Reilly tell you about his trip to Sol's Delicatessen, and how he couldn't get over the fact that the patrons were eating just like normal people, and no was shouting, "M-Fer, I killed Jesus Christ."

Kurtz: "I'll be on ... the O'Reilly Factor in the 8 p.m. hour."

Now there's a show that a real media critic could dig into. But that's a task for some other time, right? There's them books to sell...

Will this book be available on the remainders shelf of "Books a Million" this weekend?

Tough crowd here. Sorry I haven't posted more, am running around New York with little computer time.

Tough crowd, it's true.
That's what makes blogging so much fun!

Of course that's also why I don't have my own blog.

Do what comics do and work WITH the heckling.

Mr. Kurtz, I've been watching Reliable Sources for years. You do a great job. From just the bits I've read I know I want to read this book. I can't believe no one turned you down from doing an interview. I wonder, will you turn anyone down?
